StyleTheory is a Fashion-Technology company that is redefining Fashion Consumption. We believe that there is an inefficiency in the way we consume fashion in today's world and are on a mission to provide a smarter solution. 

We are currently Southeast Asia's largest and fastest-growing Fashion Rental startup. Our core product is Fashion Rental Subscription using a “Netflix-for-Fashion” model, the first and only of its kind in the region. Today, we are focused on building more products to improve Fashion Consumption and driving these solutions across the region. 


This role will focus on StyleTheory’s Rental business in Singapore & Hong Kong. As the CRM intern for this business unit, you will be responsible for building marketing campaigns across different stages of the customer funnel, nurturing Subscribers, and keeping them engaged throughout their entire life-cycle with us. 

Communication is key, and you will need to exercise your writing skills and creative genius to come up with compelling content that keeps your audience thirsty for more. This role will report to the Senior Growth Manager, Rental.

Customer loyalty and advocacy is key to driving repeated business and building long term sustainable commercial value for any business. For StyleTheory, this means creating a healthy and successful relationship between our Customers and us and continuously building through initiatives for growing our subscriber base and engagement.

In order to maximize the value of each customer relationship, a data-centric approach is a key to understanding our customer's DNA and to meaningfully connect with them across various customer touch-points (E.g. Site, App) and communication channels (E.g. Email, App Push Notifications, SMS). Your ability to transform analytical insights into creative content is what will determine your success in turning customers into loyal advocates for the brand. 


  • Conduct data analyses to uncover opportunities and gaps in the Subscriber life-cycle/ journey, create highly relevant and engaging campaigns that speak to them, moving them along the customer funnel 
  • Learn and develop a clear understanding of the CRM/ Growth tools and how we can constantly improve the reach of our communications with the customers 
  • Plan and execute these customer campaigns on Email, App Push Notifications, SMS, and any other communication platforms 
  • Create effective and meaningful content for all of the communication channels above
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of these customer communications
  • Develop effective cross-channel approaches, maximizing the use of available tools to provide the most relevant experience to customers 
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Growth team to help execute the growth plan


  • Strong willingness to learn and grow independently, has an owner/builder mentality 
  • Strong writing and creative skills, able to conceptualize marketing angles and ideas 
  • Strong communication skills, work well in a team setting 
  • Clarity of thought, problem solver 
  • Comfortable with data and able to relate to qualitative aspects of work 
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing/Communications/Computer Science or any related fields 
  • Prior experience in HTML, SQL, Excel, or related programming languages a plus
  • Passionate about the Fashion and Sharing Economy space
  • (Optional) Prior to digital marketing experience within a revenue-focused industry (eCommerce preferred) 
  • (Optional) Prior experience in Email/Mobile app, direct marketing, and analytics (E.g MailChimp, Oracle Responsys, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Clevertap, Periscope)
